What is EarthJoy?
I became interested in tree climbing while on a family rafting trip in West Virginia. I was in the cabin, leafing through a magazine when I saw a picture of Genevieve-

My heart soared because I knew I would learn this technique and share it with others. After some persistence and determination Bill and I headed to Georgia to learn with Abe Winters of Tree Climbing USA. Over a course of three years we qualified as facilitators.
EarthJoy is born from desires I had as child. I remember leading neighborhood kids, and my sister through long explorations of our country woods, miles of bike trips on backroads, fishing expeditions at every creekbed, and walking across beams in barns that were 30-40 feet from the ground. I was queen of creating various adventures to do everyday!!
That is what EarthJoy is all about. We provide, fun, exciting and different adventures!!
We have climbable trees all over Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and offer guided lightweight backpacking trips.
